Sauna camp guides
As a Sauna Camp Guide, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing sauna sessions, guiding wellness activities, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. This position requires an upbeat and welcoming personality, a passion for wellness, and a love of winter.

Responsibilities
Sauna Guide

Guest Services: Oversee and manage 2-hour sauna sessions, ensuring guest safety and comfort. Some days there is 1 session, while on weekends there are multiple sessions a day.

Greet guests as they enter Sauna Camp, check them in, and make sure all waivers have been signed.

Stay up to date and informed about best sauna practices, health benefits, cold plunge techniques. Answer guest questions with helpful tips to ensure a high-quality guest experience.

Personally guide guests through basic breathwork practices and act as a friendly support system for people who are new to sauna and cold plunge.

Sauna + Cold Plunge Operations: Start and stoke sauna fires, carry wood, and manage the ice plunge for safety and experience fluidity.

Keep ice plunge holes clean and free of debris ensuring safe and clean conditions. May include cutting or chopping of ice using a saw or sledgehammer.

Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of sauna facilities and surrounding areas.

Health & Safety: Enforce safety guidelines and protocols, monitor guests' well-being during sauna sessions, and provide basic first aid if necessary.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of camp activities and guest satisfaction.
requirements

Thursday-Friday evening and/or Saturday-Sunday availability from Black Friday through end of March 2026

Passion for wellness, health, and fitness.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Previous experience in hospitality, fitness, or wellness settings is a plus, but not required.

Ability to be outside during the winter for long periods of time (we do provide warm shelter, but you will be moving around outside a lot)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs over short distances

Up-to-date drivers license

Must be over 18 years old.

Certification in Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid will be required upon hiring.
